Living with someone who snores can be a living hell. I know because my partner used to snore and the noise was so extreme I could hear it whilst sleeping in another room!

The most difficult task you'll have is getting a snorer to admit he / she snores. After all they sleep well so how can it be a problem? The fault must lie with you for being a light sleeper!

But it does exist and you know if you can't get a decent nights sleep your head will explode (not a pretty sight). The first thing you need to do is get your partner to admit they snore.

Recording the snoring one night can be very effective. Often they are very shocked when they hear just how much of a racket they are actually making.

Don't even consider a Snoring Treatment until you've eliminated all other medical conditions that might contribute towards it. The only way is to make an appointment and go see your own medical professional.

Finally medical checks complete and your partner admits he has a problem. You are now in a position to evaluate many of the different Snoring Treatments available. It may take some time as there are a lot of them.

The two most common types of Snoring Treatment you can find are:

External: This type of snoring treatment would include items such as chin support. These keep your mouth shut while you sleep and therefore prevent you from snoring. Cushions that are placed under the chin and again keep the jaws together and disposable strips that are placed under the chin and do a similar job to the other external devices.

Nasal: As the name suggest devices that are attached to the nose and include the disposable nasal strip which fits across the nose and is supposed to keep the nasal passages open. Nasal braces actually fit inside the nostrils and keep them open (I don't like these)

Most of the Snoring Treatments my husband tried were to be honest with you useless. Yes they did reduce the volume slightly but not enough to let me get a good nights sleep.

For us after much trial and error we discovered the best type was a chin support. Now this didn't stop him snoring altogether like the adverts claimed but it did reduce the noise to a level where I was only being woken up once a night. Bliss!

So if your at the end of your tether why not take a look at Stop Snoring Today and discover a life without snoring.
